According to Center for Army Leadership (2004) we see that professional manager should (I will use several main points that is necessary to remember):
Innovate and maintain stability. Managers must be able to eliminate the tension, restore order and return the project back on track. At the same time, they must be innovative and develop new and better ways of working. Innovation breaks the routine and cause new problems to be solved.
See the perspective while the work. The manager must be able to see the future and how the project fits into the firm’s strategy. There are times when leaders must come to grips with projects and technologies. If he does not be able to worry about the details, then who will be able to do it?
Encourage individuals, but to focus on the team. The manager must motivate, persuade and interest individuals and at the same time support the work of a team. They should be cautious and rightly refer to the whole team in general and at the same time show an individual approach to each person.
It seems to me that there is no single management style or formula that would help to become a successful leader. Leadership – is too complicated process for the formulas. Successful project managers have the ability to adapt style to the specific circumstances of the situation.
Thus, at the end of this part of the project it is necessary to say that to succeed; managers must establish relations of cooperation between different groups of people. They begin by saying that define the key stakeholders, and then find out the nature of the relationship and the basis for influence. Successful leaders are able to provide a varied effect. They use this influence and interactive style of management to guide and relevant changes. All that they do so that are credible, which ultimately rests on an understanding of others of their character and competence. college essays
Thus, taking into consideration all above presented information it is necessary come to the conclusion that the value of information and communication in all spheres of human activity at the present stage is constantly increasing, which is associated with changes in the socio – economic nature, the advent of recent advances in techniques and technology research results. Moreover, communication plays an important role and could improve management efficiency. Effective communication enhances organizational performance and satisfaction of workers by their labor, a sense of ownership in the organization. Often wrongly assume that effective communication system is formed “by itself” as soon as a group of executors will have the overall task. It seems to me that ineffective communication – is one of the main causes of problems in management. Effectively working managers – are those who are effective in communications.
Thus, we defined 5 communication “hot topics” and proved their necessity for personnel on the example of a large multinational company. It is necessary to said for the end of this paper that communications are an integral component of any process of interaction, but they requires a certain managerial skills with an aim to be effective. Since communication is a vital component of management, managers need to try to follow the communication process, identify problems at each stage and try to eliminate them in order to increase the efficiency of transmission and perception of information. Training activity will help to achieve good results in communication process and develop own communication, negotiation and other skills of successful person.
